Dura, Michelin and Aston Martin have taken to the race tracks of Asia in 2008 for the marque’s’ first ever one-make series, the Aston Martin Asia Cup. This new competition features the stunning 4.3 litre, 410hp V8-engined Vantage N24 running in a championship consisting of seven race meetings.
The championship runs 10 races over six rounds with support slots at the prestigious Shanghai and Singapore Formula 1 Grand Prixs and has a good level of coverage in Asia as well as the rest of the world. The prize for the championship winner is a fully-sponsored season in a Vantage N24 in the 2009 FIA GT4 Championship, so the season has excited interest from drivers and audiences regionally as well as further afield.
