ALUMINIUM CHEQUER PLATE FLOORING
Great for the hi-tech flooring look
Although this is not a particularly common finish for the garage floor, aluminium chequer plate flooring can be a practical and hi-tech looking solution if used correctly. Supplied in sheets instead of flooring tiles, our chequerplate range is fixed to a subfloor of marine plywood / sealed mdf or applied onto a self-levelling PVA adhesive.
As aluminium chequer plate flooring is made from a stronger and more durable flooring material it can look exceptionally good as a whole floor within a workshop or as a focal floor strip in the middle of the garage along with PVC Floor Tiles or Porcelain Flooring. Cleaning chequerplate is also very easy and keeps relatively dust free but avoid prolonged contact with salt water that could in time oxidize the aluminium.
